Funny the way the world works. I recently contacted the SpeakerText CEO/Founder and blogging virtuoso Matt Mireles about Chris Dixon’s controversial post on a possible new tax rate to be imposed on money managers. Next thing I know I’m in the #SpeakerCave getting amped up about SpeakerText 2.0 - set to be released later this summer.

SpeakerText is a web application that turns a video’s transcript and/or closed captions into an interactive search and navigation tool. SpeakerText lets users find quotes within a video, share snippets of larger videos and allows quote hyperlinks to the exact spot inside of the original video. Users can also search the entire SpeakerText database, find quotes within any SpeakerText video and jump directly to them from the search results.
